Ever found yourself throwing egg whites away as the recipe only included the yolks? Did you feel bad? You don’t have to anymore.
Here is a recipe for using them up in just 20 minutes. Baking included.
Walnut and Peach Pud
– 3 egg whites
– 150 g icing sugar
– 300 g walnut
– about 10 tablespoons of peach jam
Pre-heat oven to 180 C degrees/fan. Whisk the eggs and the sugar in a mixing bowl until it hardens. Finely chop the walnuts in a food processor and add to the eggs. Carefully mix them together. Cover a larger baking tray with baking paper and place about 10-12 spoonfuls (using a tablespoon) on the tray. Get a teaspoon and scoop a little peach jam on top of each.
Bake for 15 minutes and leave it to cool before trying to move them onto a serving plate.
